Specially formulated for use in Western Australia, Rapid Set is a quick drying all-purpose jointing compound for use on small-scale jointing jobs and patching.
Gyprock Rapid Set is typically used as all coats in a three coat jointing system for plasterboard and fibre cement in smaller residential and commercial walls and ceiling projects. It is also ideal for patching holes and defects. Hand application is recommended given the short working time.
Rapid Set is a plaster based all-purpose compound used as all coats in a three coat jointing system or as a base coat only. This low VOC dry powder has been engineered with a rapid 20 minute working time after mixing. This makes it ideal for jobs which need to be completed in one day. Coats should be allowed to harden and dry for at least 30 minutes before re-coating or sanding.

Storage: Store bags of compound in a dry environment, protected from the weather and out of direct sunlight. Tear bag open from top corner to dispense compound. Unused product which has been mixed with water should be discarded. Unused product in powder format should be stored in original bag: roll the top of the bag to loosely seal, and store in an airtight container.
